The notes on the rear sleeve refer to a previous album, Sounds Like Swinging, by Garry Blake, which was previously posted on the excellent Inflight Entertainment blog.
This follow-up is equally as good, being a mix of a few popular songs of the era and other songs and standards arranged in a very nice mid 60's brass and beat style.
The track I like the most on this album is called Bathtub Saturday Night, a tune best known by my generation (in the UK at least) as the tune used by comedy duo Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer on their theme song from their BBC TV series The Smell Of Reeves And Mortimer!
The download on the first album on the Inflight Entertainment blog has been taken down, so if you enjoy this, please comment, and I will post my rip of that album if there is enough interest!
I hope you enjoy it and please comment if you do!
