Top Hits In James Last Style - Henri Valentino and his Orchestra (1974)

Well, this album has James Last in big letters in the cover, it has a picture of the man himself on the cover, so it must be a James Last album?

Well actually, no.

It is a good example of one of the "tribute" albums to the sound of James Last which came out on one of the many budget labels out in the 1970s.

The mix of vocal and instrumental tracks, the arrangements, and the choice of songs, makes this a fine album, and worthy tribute to the great man himself.

I hope you enjoy it and please comment if you do!
