A Touch Of Velvet And A Sting Of Brass - City Of Westminster String Band (1968)

A very nice album of orchestral Easy listening from John Schroeder, arranged by Lew Warburton, and released on the legendary UK label, Pye Records!

Featuring a blend of contemporary pop songs and other instrumental works, the highlight is surely the title track, originally by Mood Mosaic, it has gained popularity as a 60s radio theme tune and I'm told, has been popular on the Northern Soul scene!

I hope you enjoy it and please comment if you do!
