I'd Have To Say... The Best Of The Beatles - Various Artists (ELW Compilation)

I was very glad I was able to see the moment this morning that Easy Listening World reached one million hits!

So, to celebrate, here is a compilation I have been planning for some time, a simple premise, the greatest songs of the fab four by some of the most and least well-known names in the Easy Listening World of the 60s and 70s!

Many of the tracks are from albums previously shared here, some are from other compilations, and a few are from albums shared on other blogs, so thanks to them for those, with particular thanks for the original inspiration to start my blog in January 2008 to Lounge Legends, Lemoncat and Vinyl Room amongst many others!

The title, incidentally, comes from what UK comedy character Alan Partridge said when asked, "What's your favourite Beatles album?".

I hope you enjoy it and please comment if you do! This, more than anything, is what keeps the blog going!

  15. Not that I'm the worlds' biggest Beatles fan, but the various artists you picked for this compilation just made it look like something I'd enjoy, and I definitely am!! Like all your compilations, you do a great job of artist and title selection!! Contrats, too, on your 1 million hits!! Again, many thanx, and a very happy New Year to you!!
