Christmas With Love - Geoff Love & His Orchestra (1972)

A Christmas album which is undoubtedly up there with Ron Goodwin's classic Christmas Wonderland!

Like that, this is a blend of tradtional carols and popular 20th Century Christmas songs all arranged in a big orchestral style!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all readers!

  2. Hello,

    Greetings from Shropshire, England.

Thank you for all your efforts that you have expended in sharing your love of music with us – I really appreciate your generosity.

There is much that I have been exposed to that I would not have otherwise been aware of.

All the very best for the Festive Season and for 2016.

  3. This is definitely in my top five Christmas albums!

  4. An excellent Christmas album, definitely in my top five!

  5. Have a Very Merry Christmas from Mark (from Minnesota USA) sojourning in Alaska. Than you for another year of great music blogging!

  6. I have this Christmas gem by Geoff Love. I discovered Geoff Love/Manuel back in 1994 while in the Navy and stationed at N.A.S. Barbers Point. I had subscribed to Digital Cable Radio and kept tuned in to the easy listening instrumental station. I learned of many, many wonderful orchestras. It's so sad that there aren't any more easy listening instrumental stations on the air any more. This is what REAL music is all about. Thanks for being there Easy Listening World!!

  7. Thank you so much Mark. This is a great Christmas album. I also love Geoff's Star War / Superthemes album. Have you see the Geoff Love Facebook page?

  8. Thank you, Mark. I'm newly acquainted with Geoff Love so this is a nice surprise!

    1. Muff, are you aware that Geoff Love also recorded under the pseudonym "Manuel & The Music Of The Mountains"? I recently uploaded a custom compilation by Manuel and entitled it "Soft Lights & Beautiful Music. This custom disc is a collection of songs I grew up with in the '70s along with a few other beautiful pieces such as Hagood Hardy's "The Homecoming" and Frank Mills' "Music Box Dancer". Download it and give it a listen. I know you'll enjoy it greatly.
