Lennon And McCartney Tijuana Style - Torero Band (1969)

A very nice summery tijuana brass feel to these arrangements of 12 classic Beatles tracks.

It doesn't say on the sleeve, but I am sure these were arranged by Alan Moorhouse, as I believe he arranged the classic Tijuana Christmas album, also by Torero Band on MFP, and also the version of Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da (see below) is very similar to his arrangement performed by the Joe Loss Orchestra, I think.

This album has been out there before, but doesn't seem to be now, so here is my rip!

I have had this one for quite a long time, have seen it in the charity shops several times since I bought it, and just never got round to digitising it until now.

The arrangements are exactly what you may expect, no surprises, just excellent 60s brass arrangements of these well-known songs.

I hope you enjoy it and please comment if you do!

This Is Max Greger [1969]

Nice sampler album from Polydor featuring the smooth, yet upbeat 60s beat sound of Max Greger.

Big on the brass, particularly sax, it is well worth a listen, the vinyl sounding especially clean!

I hope you enjoy it, and please comment if you do!
